what pairing taunts you with its ubiquitousness?

for me it's kirk/spock. i really wish i could get into this pairing with anything resembling enthusiasm because god it's huge. i think i've read every kirk/mccoy fic in existence and i just want more and kirk/spock is there on the sidelines, waving at me to come join it. but it's just not what i want. :(

Cloud/Sephiroth

It's like I got to the fandom late; I would have eaten up this pairing when I was a teenager, but now.... it's all so bad, with very few exceptions. D:

Harry/Draco

again, quality to quantity ratio leaves a lot to be desired, and most of the good fics are post-books and tbh I don't really care much for those kinds of plots

Dave/John (Homestuck)

I just see them as bros, sorry vOv

John/Dave. I don't dislike it, and I've even read plenty of fic of it, but, like... it is just pretty much the least interesting possible Homestuck pairing for me. Like, you could have aliens. You could have hate romance or pale romance. You could have any of many awesome female characters. But no, it's just... John and Dave. Yawn.

Doesn't help that John and Dave are my least favorite of the human characters. (I like them, but I like the other kids so much more.)

Shizuo/Izaya. About 90% of everything being that pairing is what drove me away from the DRRR! fandom.

I'm with you, anon. I can't get into it because ZachQ!Spock squicks me (which is totally weird, since I find him attractive even as a serial killer).
