Love pudding and man-sponge is what I took away from this secret too.

I think "Love Pudding", "Man-Sponge", and "Throbbing Manliness" would all be excellent names for a band.

Sounds like something straight out of 50 Shades of Grey...

Of course, once you start thinking about sponge and jelly as references to marine biology, the whole thing becomes even kinkier.

I've been sitting here trying to remind myself that I'm too old to still be giggling like a pre-schooler over the word man-sponge. It's not been very successful.

Pretty sure the background text us framiliar. LOL regardless and yeah, sometimes bad sex scenes are wildly entertaining for all the wrong reasons.

I can't help but wonder if that's from the author in question's fic, or 50 Shades or something.

This is basically why I'd rather not read friends' stories and poetry. What if it's awful? I'd hate to tell them, but I'd also hate to lie and say it's good if it's not. I'd probably find a couple of good things, mention those and say it's not really my kind of thing overall.

Are those actual lines from actual fic? OMG. Love pudding & man-sponge? Throbbing manliness? Moaned sexily?

I've had a friend who had OCs and I realized they were kind of Mary Sueish after awhile, but I never really said anything after I realized, because honestly it wasn't my business what my friend did with her characters, and I figured that she would realize in time like I did and make improvements.

Guess what? She did.

I mean if she's asking you for critique I would suggest telling her what needs improvement (like not using ridiculous euphemisms for genitals and ...maybe focus on the emotions and feelings of the characters instead of the physical details?) It always helps to focus on telling her what's good and how she can make it even better rather than saying it like "This sucks"

Tell the truth...but be clever in HOW you tell it. You can phrase it in away that will raise defenses or you can phrase it in away that sounds like "Okay this could be better and here's how" or in a way that tells the truth without registering as an insult.

Also am I the only one who didn't comment on "love pudding" and
"man-sponge". Whoopsie not anymore. Hurr.
