honestly i kind of feel the same way. i do like horror movies, but brutal violence and gore not okay for me. and while i didn't like funny games that much, i wasn't bothered by it. it didn't feel like a real movie to me, the story or the characters. it was such blatant social commentary that i couldn't get drawn into it like i normally am with movies. i left the theater just feeling like 'meh, that was mildly interesting' rather than feeling affected by it emotionally at all.
