He didn't seem any more dickish than anyone else in the cast.
Can't speak on the other bottom characters.
And he doesn't even compare to Eridan: someone who killed two people and destroyed the only known way for his species to survive.

(Anonymous) 2013-02-25 06:22 am (UTC)(link)He was still all those things even in the English version -- and he's a lot more than just borderline sexist. He's kind of a huge creep too on top of that (see: buying the girls swimsuits, forcing them into the beauty pageant)
I don't see any reason to assume something like that (but then again I dropped his social link and him from the party entirely after Kanji joined because I found him that repellant so I'm not an ~expert~), and I don't see any reason to make excuses for him. Douchebag is still douchebag. You're allowed to like him, but trying to excuse his behavior is kinda dumb.
