I feel I could have written this secret myself, especially since I saw this episode only a few days ago and found myself thinking how stupid it was.

And since then I've had trouble with the writers' inability to draw a line between "cold, impersonal intellectual" and "obnoxious douchebag".

I know there are plenty of scenes in which other characters discuss how annoying Sherlock is, but the scene where he shouts "Laterz!" at the Buckingham Palace staff meant that I secretly enjoyed Moriarty tearing him to sheds in the finale.

(I mean seriously, "Laterz"? Somebody knee that man's groin already).
