Interesting. I'm kind of the opposite - I love horror movies, but can't watch movies like Funny Games because I find them too disturbing and uncomfortable to watch (I can't watch torture porn horror movies either, so for me it's how realistic the violence portrayed is).

That said, I think a lot of people have that one thing that is completely different to what they usually like that they love anyway, or despite themselves.

(Or OP just has a crush on Michael Pitt ;) )

(Also, OP, have you seen the original? If so, do you like it or the remake more, or can you watch one and not the other?)
