Yes, yes it does. Everyone who's never kissed anyone, or any of the right people for them, needs to turn in their gay/bi/straight card right away. Asexuality just became the new world norm!

Really, this whole idea that you have to do something physical with a member of the same sex to prove to yourself that you like them... heteronormative much? What is it that's "insulting to gays," again?

Agreed. And what about those of us who kissed people of the opposite gender -- or even had heterosexual sex -- before we realized we were gay/lesbian? I still haven't so much as kissed a woman, but I can sure as hell tell you that men do nothing for me. I guess that makes me asexual until such time as I prove my lesbianism, huh?

No, sorry, it wasn't what I meant. To you too, please do read the comment I did in reply to the first one.
I repeat I find it insulting, and again, it's because it makes gay people lose a ton of credibility. It certianly is not because of the kiss thing, it's because most of those people really aren't gay at all, they really just want to get the spotlight.
Most of them are drama queens, emo, suddendly dark etc etc, not to mention the fact that until the day before all of their friends became suddendly gay, they were perfectly stright.

Oh, and I don't talk of sterothypes, really. It's in italian, but I can link you at least 10 blogs of people like that (then you can just watch their friends pages since it's basically the same thing), and if I talk like this, it's because I've seen such things happen.
Please do read my first comment (and this one, of course), and let me know if you didn't get something, if I explained myself badly or your opinion in general (I do value it)!
