There is a calibre plugin that makes downloading fic from Fanfiction.net easy, it saves it in ebook format to put on your kindle etc. (they also have a webapp to do it: http://fanfictiondownloader.appspot.com/)

Also,In case the OP or anyone else is interested, some of the Geocities stuff still exists, there are a few places that mirrored Geocities before it went away. Places like Reocities and oocities.

If you know the url of something on geocities (sometimes you can find links to stuff in old fic directories, old webring listings, link pages etc), just replace the "geocities.com" part of the url with "reocities.com" or "oocities.com" and you might get lucky.
