Re: Questions About The Closer Fandom
Major Crimes is worth watching! I like Raydor as a lead more than I was expecting. The new detective (Sykes, I think her name is?) is kind of boring but I expect they'll find more to do with her. The crime stories and direction are very much in the same style as the Closer, which makes sense since it's the same production team. I think they do show more flashbacks and footage of the crime taking place; something that was starting to be more common in the later seasons of the Closer but which usually just started with the team showing up at the scene. The biggest difference is that while Brenda specialized in confessions, Raydor is more interested in getting convictions, so the legal side is more present than it was in the Closer.
