I think that a lot of people just get off on "first times". I mean I've seen a lot of that trope in fic about het and/or canon couples too. I think it's because a lot of fic writers are still young and exploring their own sexuality through fiction.

Having both characters be inexperienced can also give it something sweet and innocent.

While, especially if you're a more seasoned fic reader, I can totally understand why it bothers you, I get where it comes from, and I actually like some of the stories.
