Depending on the fandom, most of what I see is C or a combination of C and A (otherwise, either both characters are some combination of gay/bi and experienced or bi but experienced only with het sex). I think the OP is talking about C and I think it happens for exactly the reasons you stated.

If that's the case, then I totally understand their frustration, but they really should learn to word themselves more clearly :|a

That was how I read it, and was kind of surprised when I came here and saw the discussion about virgins in general. I thought the wording 'first gay experience' as opposed to, say, 'first sexual experience', was pretty clear.

Maybe, but there's a general interpretation, and then there's the OP's intentions. I could've interpreted the way you did, but I also know that that may not have been what the OP intended, especially since a lot of people seem to have taken the "first sexual experience" interpretation. IDK, I'm probably a bit more of a stickler for unambiguous wording than most people :/a That's why I was asking in the first place.
