The word "misandry" does exist, though, and people use it when talking about a person hating men. I doubt there's anything we can do to make the word go away now. Whether misandry actually is a thing or not is a different matter.

I was actually this way with Castle. Because I loved the first three seasons, and it only took one episode (the first) of season four to have immediate Smallville "Secrets and Lies!!!" flashbacks that completely turned me off the show.

I literally did not watch another episode for three or four months. But I came back for the episode where Ryan was getting married, and for some reason, instead of just watching that episode, I went back and watched from where I left off.

And yeah, the episodes that were all about the Caskett secrets and lies were stupid and I hate them, the others were still awesome. But this was about the time that I started watching more for Ryan and Esposito than anything to do with Castle and Beckett or the cases. Though, I will say Castle and Beckett are growing on me again now that we're through all crap.

I agree with you OP, I really hated it. I admit that I'd thought Sirius/Remus was going to turn out to be a thing, but then it didn't.

However I didn't like Tonks anyhow, she just seemed like the most ridiculous character with a very sketchy personality, one of those irritating people who would just get on your nerves because they are so "wacky". There simply didn't seem to be anything in common between her and Remus.

Feminism is supposed to protect and promote women. Equality is a concern for us ofcourse, but it's a means to and end. Equality, as far as feminism goes, should at this point only be focused with bringing us to the level we deserve.

We want equality so we will be protected from men. When we are equal, then we'll discus the menz needs. Untill then it helps no one to spout this third wave bullshit.

They are privilaged and protected quite enough by society, so please stop twisting the ideals of feminism to futher guard them.

HOWEVER, I strongly, strongly suspect that he's going to be a companion in DAIII, mark my words. If that's the case, we're sure to see him as a love interest.

He doesn't, I promise. You just get extra mentions in DAII as a human mage, since Hawke is related to the Amells maternally.

Definitely fails your requisite, but it's a great book, so - Anathem by Neal Stephenson. There's so much detail and the world feels so real! It is.....about 900 pages, but honestly it doesn't feel like a long read at all.

I stopped reading for a while because I didn't want the story to end. :(

Oh man. Neal Stephenson. Love that guy. But he's definitely not for everyone.

I just re-read Anathem, actually, and it's still something I love. The ideas are just so endlessly fascinating, it gives you so much to think about, and the story is also a lot of fun with some inarguably great moments. Again, like Stephenson's work, it's not for everyone - you have to be okay with Stephenson's flaws and quirks, and basically be interested in the things he thinks are interesting. But I will totally stan for Cryptonomicon, Anathem, and the Baroque Cycle.

HE WAS SUPER CUTE. I kept expecting her to find out that he was just pretending to be in the army, but it turned out that he was awesome and SHE was the asshole, which is unusual for female characters.
