No, I honestly can't. Maybe it's because English is my third language, I don't know -- but I don't think my comment indicates that at all. And even if it did, I think people should show common decency and LAY OFF after getting an explanation saying it was all a misunderstanding. I'm truly upset about this, but I guess a lot of people find that to be great fun.

People who didn't give a rat's ass about the Olympics knew there was a double-amputee running. But of course it doesn't count because he was in the Paralympics...

You're presuming they knew that. Previously disabled people were not allowed to compete, to my knowledge. It's a reasonable thing to think, especially if you don't really follow the Olympics.

Sadly, you might be right. I remember reading in the newspapers a while back that Breivik (Norwegian mass murderer) was getting a lot of love letters, and that it had a lot to do with his "good looks".

Yes, yes he does... Brevik that is... And a lot of other murderess and so on. Apparently a lot of the people sending letters to them do it because they think they can "save" the person or something.
