Seconding Thorin/Bilbo. I started out mostly shipping those two but when a pairing starts really being the most shipped pairing (I'm still a bit surprised about the runner-ups, to be honest) and the fanfiction quality slowly starts declining (it's not really that bad for this pairing though) and the portmonteaux start being annoying instead of cute/funny, I move on to rarer pairs.
I don't mind the pairing and will still occasionally read and write it, but I no longer actively look for it.
