...yes. (Gee, am I that obvious?) And the thing is, sure, at a superficial glance she might seem insecure, but really, celebrity culture IS weird and I guess it's got to be stranger for them because he never really set out to become a celebrity - anyway, I GET IT; I'd really feel the same way in her situation and I don't think it's unjustified at all. And it makes me sad because from the very little I've seen they seem to be such an adorable couple.

...or maybe I'm overthinking things.

This is funny because it never even occurred to me about Brian Cox, I don't think of him having that sort of fandom! Anyhow pretty sure his wife isn't insecure, but it must be irritating to have people go on about how good looking you hubby is. (I don't find him attractive at all, he's too "pretty" and IRL I think he doesn't look as good, odd teeth)

Also the fact he was in a successful band would suggest he did always aim to have some kind of fame.
