Bootcut jeans. Apparently they're the worst jeans a girl can wear (besides the momma jeans) but I absolutely hate the way straight-leg look on me and don't want to be restricted to skinny jeans.

Really? I love bootcut. Not too big, not skinny and strangling my ankle and making my legs look like a tent-peg.

Bootcut jeans are actually supposed to flatter people who carry their weight in their hips/butt/thighs because the slight flare in the leg evens out your silhouette (Mom jeans are the worst because they taper and then cut you off in all the unflattering places). So if that sounds like you, you've done well, don't listen to what anyone says about bootcut not being flattering. I personally wear skinny jeans casually but go bootcut all the way for work pants - straight leg makes me look like a lumpy bowling pin, ugh.

Yes! Well, er, I have a bunch of my weight in my belly cause PCOS sucks but my family ladies have the thunderthighs, and we're proud of it, lol. Hips and butt and all that. Skinny jeans do NOT look good, nor are they very comfortable. Boot cut is the way to go.

(I'm still trying to convince my mom of this, who wears mom jeans and they look awful. They don't suit her proportions at all, and we have very similar builds.)

I haaaaate straight-leg jeans. Because when you have thunder-thighs like I do, by the time you get to the ankle, you're just swimming in a sea of denim.

And on the other end of the pant -- I actually look for jeans that are higher-waisted (which is easier for me, since I'm so short) because I feel like there's a sweet spot where the waistband is over my muffin top, and I feel far less fat - or at least like I look far less fat. But I don't tuck in my shirt, so it's not like anyone can tell how high up my pants go.

I dislike jeans to begin with but I can't even fucking wear skinny jeans. I don't like thick cloth that clings. Ugh. Ew ew ew, get it away.

Boot cut all the way, even if the flare ends up weird from having to be hemmed to fit my 4'11 self.
