Yeah, excusing a select few out of recent years, Pixar does actually do better than it's usual competition. Not always, but usually.

Triplets of Bellville, Persepolis, The Illusionist. And I know that if it were nominated, Mary and Max would've given Up a run for it's money. I'm not trying to be an animation snob, Ratatouille is one of my favorite films and it beat Persepolis. I'm just confused by the how films that are more 'Oscar-material' (story/content wise)are passed over for family features. Pixar isn't the only one. Rango beat Chico and Rita and I was genuinely mega-pissed about that.
