Meh. If you want that name then fine. I don't want it myself but despite the baggage attached that's not true of all people. Even nice people can be bronies. Though it makes me wonder if such folks have a masochistic streak given the past year.

Just don't call me one and I'm fine calling you one, I guess?

Just don't be surprised if people are wary of you though before they get to know you even if you are in fact a nice person. It's after all understandable to be so, and I can't really apologise for it in my own case. I'll be waiting and seeing first before I act fellow-fanish etc to a brony I have not mentally stamped as okay.

Also there's the problem of a subset of male bronies who won't consider you one. So hope you don't run into too much of that?

'Brony' used to seem kind of cute as a name to me honestly. Corny as hell sure, obviously but nah, unfortunately it's going to take some time for the taint to run off if it ever gets the chance to and the drama certain bronies perpetuate stops.

Granted I'm thinking we should have a month break from brony secrets unless something huge/awful happens in that time*- praise/defence secrets is obviously the most annoying type to me but it's getting a little tiring sometimes I guess.

*Am I tempting fate?
