9. No, the first arc was about those three. Like most shows with arcs, the plot and character focus shifts in each one. And his death was in no way random and unnecessary, it was pivotal to Simon's learning how to become a leader and his own person. Which is one of the things the show is about.

Also, Nia is adorable, and Viral-- WAIT, IS THIS A TROLL?

I want to protect her. I want to hold her close, to run my fingers through her soft hair, and feel her giggles tickling my ear. I want to spend the night drinking and telling jokes with her. Of course, being much wiser and experienced than a normal child, I'm sure she'd know her share of dirty jokes and anecdotes. To hear swearing like a sailor coming out of Rika-chan's sweet mouth would be a dream come true. And then at night she would snuggle close, and I would gently embrace her. Not a little girl, and yet not a woman either, I would try to ease her discomfort in a kind, fatherly way. I would tell her I would be with her no matter what, and I would make sure she finally has a chance to become a full-grown woman. Tears in her eyes, she would bury her face in my chest and stay close through the night.

Why can't she be real?

I should've read your comment before I posted my latest reply in the troll comment (fixed it now). I guess that's what happens when you're obsessed with a fandom... you start thinking everything's about that fandom. XD

Though I wouldn't have been too surprised either way.
