Actually I made this secret aaaages ago, so um, I'm all caught up to ep 23 now lol. I kept watching to be an informed hater but it turns out I really like it. His death was necessary, I admit, but I'm still sad that my favorite charas always seem to die. I am hesitate to start fav'ing on Viral now as well; there's still one ep left for him to bite the dust. >_>

I still stand by one thing though: I hate Nia lol. I hope she dies in Simon's arms or something equally melodramatic.

Soubi is an incredibly interesting and deep character, one my favorite manga characters of all time. I have yet to see anyone write Soubi really well, they always do it in the way you described: big bad abusive seme. Uh...yeah, did all these people miss the parts where Soubi demands that Ritsuka be the one to take charge of the situation and order him around? >>

yeah wtf. Fic writers can work as hard as authors, but the majority of fanfiction out there is absolute shit, especially if you browse a site like ff.net. Personally, I wouldn't blame your friend for not knowing there actually is good writing out there that people work hard on. And I wouldn't consider "fans" very hard critics, either, considering the majority of reviews are something along the lines of "so kyoot i wunder what will hapn 2 them! UPDATE UPDATE UPDAET PLZ." Your friend is being silly - any writing requires some level of thinking, but you're being silly too in your reaction. You honestly think professional writers don't have to deal with cliches, way more intense critics, and maybe having to create and develop a character?

It started coming out some time last year. I didn't hear about her until her true identity was revealed. You can read more about lonelygirl15 here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lonelygirl15). Some of the videos are actually pretty nice, especiually the older ones. Now I think they're trying to turn it into an online tv show, and some of the episodes were a little weird. Then again, I haven't been watching it episode by episode, so maybe it's just me. XD

9. I suspect you know by now just how funny this secret is. 8D (But. . .oh lord, yes, Nia is annoying. SO annoying. And she doesn't get any LESS annoying. Likewise a good many of the random not-Simon, not-Kamina pilots, too--waaay too many of them drop right over the edge of Kamina-like 'adorably brusque and impetuous' to 'complete asshole'. The characters in this series seem to run about half-and-half unspeakably awesome and GODOHGODGETRIDOFIT. To me, at least.)

Well the main point of the secret was me pretty much complaining that my favorite characters always die (at least, in series where fighting is taking place for most of the plot). It really threw me off that it happened to quickly in this show though. But I still stand by my comments on Nia. I hate her type of character in any show though. Naive and cute makes me barf. Now, naive, cute, but really manipulating and EVIL is a whole 'nother thing. >:)

The American version, "Buddy Buddy", also holds the distinction of being the only remake that I actually like. It's nowhere near as good as the original, but it's not half bad either IMHO.

28. Ugh, WORD. No, fanfic is not for lazy people sitting on their lazy butts being lazy and too stupid to make up their own ideas. Sometimes, fanfic can be even harder than original fic cause everywhere you turn there's a Fandom Cop waiting to bust you for writing blanketfic, making a character a little different than normal, having an OTP that isn't canon, etc. With original fiction, you call the shots.

Not that original fic's a walk in the park, mind you. :P
