HI.HI.HI.HI.HI. HIIIIII.

Okay, well. Honestly, I've only read Elsewhere but if I could *FIND* the others I would be on it like a rabbit in heat.

They reprinted Nevernever at the same time a year or so back: I would honestly recommend turning to the internet or your local independent bookstore at this point.

ALSO HELLO NUMBER FOUR it is like my favorite series ever but I am too brain dead to comment more then once. AND YES.

27 Why is this a secret? No one's making you go to Gaia. =D

In summation, CRY MOAR.

And for that matter, after their first two singles, the lyrics of SweetS songs became a lot more innocent. They never were very popular though - Lolita ~Strawberry in Summer~ was their highest selling single and it only sold a doinky 23,007 copies, and none of their singles were ever in the top 10.

I think they were more popular among Western J-pop/idol fans to be honest. When they were still together, a lot of fellow MoMusu fans liked their stuff as well.

(And I will admit as well that I still enjoy listening to the occasional SweetS song. I'm a total wota...)

Not as far as I know, I've seen it before and was under the impression it's fanart/shop/maybe a bit of both. If it IS a real picture WHY DID I MISS THE EPISODE.

2. What? There is nothing in canon that suggests that Soubi would be a big bad seme. As for recs, there are some Loveless fics over at [livejournal.com profile] eternal_nights I hope that helps.

[identity profile] avianthropy.livejournal.com 2007-09-06 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
9. No, the first arc was about those three. Like most shows with arcs, the plot and character focus shifts in each one. And his death was in no way random and unnecessary, it was pivotal to Simon's learning how to become a leader and his own person. Which is one of the things the show is about.

Also, Nia is adorable, and Viral-- WAIT, IS THIS A TROLL?

12. I LOL'd.

27. So, in order to run away from those things, you went to a site that has 5 forums to catter to anime fans, 1 forum fully dedicated to drawn man on man sex, and that every friday, you can expect furry images on /b/ (and that's just the image forums)... Right, makes perfect sense. Only it doesn't.

And please, 4chan is so over rated it's not even funny. That site is like going back to kindergarden, only everyone's supposed to be adults. /y/ is a nice source for yaoi though 8)

YOUR REASON IS FLAWED, LURK MOAR

(Anonymous) 2007-09-06 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
27. It actually DOES make sense.
4chan and Gaia are VERY different and CATER to different people/age groups. Both contain anime, so what? The people who post furries on /b/ are trolls (most of the time) and the place is filled with a bunch of elitist assholes bitching at eachother over anime/hentai/videogames/shit and posting CP. It's awesome so STFU.

The poster said they were leaving because of the emo/scene kids, furfags and underageb& posting their acne-ridden faces while screeching about why Itachi is hotter than Sasugay or why you MUST donate gold so they can buy that new piece of shit item. 70% of Gaiafags posts liek dis lol ^__^ while you'd get saged in an instant for talking like that on one of the boards.

If your year in KINDERGARTEN contained shitting dick nipples, trolls, memes and long discussions (minus Gaia-grammar) about what loli is screwing who then you seriously need to get off the meds.

tl;dr LURK THE FUCK MOAR

hughes: (the legend;)

[personal profile] hughes 2007-09-06 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
28. Word on that. I wouldn't say it's necessarily harder, as I'm usually a fanfic writer and I'm having a really hard time coming up with a cohesive plot for original characters on my own, but it definitely is just as much work. I also don't understand why a lot of non-fandom people act as if fanfiction is juvenile--I mean, it's really great practice on how to handle characterization and make sure the characters stay true to the canon, so that when you start your own original fics, you don't make your own characters contradict themselves all the time.

35. I respect your opinion and understand this is a completely unoffensive secret. But I personally see RED and froth at the mouth whenever someone even mentions that movie like I do with NOTHING ELSE. ._. NAZI HUGHES? NAZI HUGHES???? aisfhjakls. T_T;;; I'M SORRY IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT I JUST CAN'T HELP MYSELF

35.

[identity profile] curexmyxremedy.livejournal.com 2007-09-06 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
As much as I understand and respect the opinion of most people on this, I tried not to comment, I swear - but, did it occur to you that maybe Nazi Hughes was supposed to support the same theory as Alfons helping them?

Not all Nazis were bad, some were misguided and thought they were doing the right thing, for awhile there. I'm not trying to start an argument, it's really just... A question, I guess. I do know exactly what you mean, and myabe it's only how I choose to percieve things.... but I don't think the Nazi Hughes thing was an attempt to make Hughes out to be a bad guy in the movie. (i.e. Bradley's alter being a good guy, for a change.)

You sound like a troll. The Viral thing gave you away (unless you are reeeally good at missing spoilers).

Though if you aren't, Kamina being offed was a surprise, but this is GAINAX we're talking about. They love pulling shit like that.
And Kamina's death brought out the faggotry GAR SPIRIT in Simon. It was an awesome twist in the series and I'm glad he isn't coming back.
But alas, we can't all love the same characters. So I respect your opinion as long as you don't shove it onto the GL comm or anything.

After some thought I guess I was too mean. Not that I usually care but maybe you were just slow and caught on to the OBVIOUS hints that Viral would turn good.
And it's totally okay to dislike Nia. I guess I was miffed that you offed her as the most annoying little girl ever when she's totally not. But that's really just your opinion so whatever. And that you didn't realize the real reason behind Kamina's death or that he was part of the first arc not the whole series.

And I don't really hate you I just like spouting shit. D:

32. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Zidane is my HERO. FFIX is my favorite Final Fantasy, and when people ask me why, I always say that it's because of his attitude. So many protagonists in general (not even limited to videogames) are so pessimistic so often. Zidane and his friends went through hellish, wartorn, devastating situations and he was there with them in the thick of it, cheering everyone on and telling them that things would be okay. GOOD FOR HIM. ♥ ♥ ♥ him so much.

35.) There are parts of the movie that are good, but I just found it very hard to enjoy overall. Like, it felt like an appropriate ending but... it could have been handled better. My biggest problem being that that the movie was all about Edward, and hardly any of the other characters got any spotlight. After all the crap that happened in the last two episodes, Envy got what? Ten minutes total? Hohenheim got even less. Noah was a canon!sue, Alfons had potential to be interesting, but then he was pushed off to the side and never developed. And Nazi!Hughes. The. Fuck. There was also some continuity errors and plotholes that made me want to headdesk.

Overall, good concept, and an appropriate ending for the series... but it just could have been better. I'm also very biased about the whole 'only in it for ten minutes thing' with Envy. Why, BONES, why you do that to Envy?! D8< If s/he was in it more, I probably would have liked it better. Especially because of the end of the series having so much Envy and whatnot, I was expecting more out of the movie and there was just... nothing. =/
