2. YES. Soubi = broken sub. I was under the impression rather a lot of people thought this. Why are these people not writing fic?

6. This... this is true ♥

21. Me, I hope it finally happens so I can stop pretending to give a shit about this manga. ILU, Jiraya.

36. The thing about art is that, I don't know, shouldn't it speak for itself? There's no accounting for taste, after all.

This (http://invisiblecities.comicgenesis.com/) is my favorite web artist. She lives in Malaysia, to the best of my knowledge. Unsubtle pimp.

Plus, you kind of sound like a bitter, rancid bitch, so it's hard to work up any empathy.

Huh. Unsubtle pimp though it might be, it's totally sexy art. I like the soft painterly quality.

Oh man. I swear I'm not rancid until someone leaves me sitting on the counter a few days, blech someone makes statements that imply my inferiority. If I've got one pet peeve, it's people assuming that because of X quality of mine (nationality, race, gender, etc) I'm thus inferior to someone with Y quality. Especially since most people who make those statements don't really know the difference half the time. I've seen loads of people talk about some picture as being by "some amazing japanese artist" when it's by an artist from an english-speaking country, and they're just mistaken, and perpetuating a stereotype that's hurtful to the english-speaking artists who really don't need people to believe that they are "catching up" to the japanese artists.

Yeah, something probably did crawl up my vagina and die. :< Sorry.

Honestly? I actually see your point. Also, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound so harsh. Must be the crabs T_T

I don't know, I guess I still subscribe to the school of belief that things of undeniably good quality will get their well-deserved acknowledgment in due time. I'm kind of irritated by the new(?) craze over all things Japanese myself. Japanese fan art just happens to be at the forefront of this wave. But that's just the way fads work, and I've long resigned to underground trends anyway (God, I could rant all day about popular music, just as an example).

You seem to take a decent amount of pride in your works, which leads me to believe that they are worthy of defending. I hope you keep drawing; if the art is good there will be people who see it for its quality :)

it could be because it's widely (if not a little erroneously) thought that Loveless is chan or shota which automatically equals pedophilic.

we saw how Live Journal handles that.
