Re: What Time does UPS reach your home, F!S?
hoardcollect books, and receive lots of author copies of ones they themselves wrote. I just housesat for them for 5 days and got packages each day- 1 box ARCs, 1 box cds of audiobooks, 3 boxes of books they'd ordered (from alibris, University of Chicago Press, and Edward R. Hamilton Discount Books- my parents' preferred crack dealer!).UPS usually leaves them on the porch on or behind a box thing that has our garden hose in it. Sometimes they don't knock or ring the door bell, which is fine because my mom usually sees them arrive (usually between 10-2) but I personally hate it when stuff is sitting out there in plain sight. I had a package containing a textbook I needed ASAP disappear from my apartment doorstep when I was in college. D:
