I once had an online friend who I considered my BFF along with my actual IRL BFF. We were a 'triad' for many years. I had even met her in person once (although she lived in another country thank god), so it seems like she would be legit, right?

Ahaha, no. Long story short, she and I fell out after I refused to believe she was a magical witch with supernatural powers, and then she bullied her way onto a trip to America with my BFF and spent the whole time trying to convince her I was crazy (as well as treating her and her Dad like personal servants).

Luckily, my BFF is awesome and the second she got back, cut off all contact. It was really fucked up though, because I never thought she was that kind of person.


Only other big thing I can think of is that a horribly sexist GM of a game I had played a long time ago tracked me down to accuse me of breaking him up with his girlfriend and stealing his kawaii kitsune OC. That was creepy until he tried to get me banned from a game my best friend was the admin of. Then it was just funny. Don't think that's what you meant, though.
