Man, what a loser. I know so many people who start despising their old "fandom lives" when they get busy with girlfriends or boyfriends or simply become more social. There's nothing wrong with leaving behind fandoms for other persuits, but he has absolutely no right to take it out on his old fandom friends and treat them like trash because he's embarrassed or some shit by what he used to (and probably still does) like! And whether you were too clingy or not you still did not deserve at all to be treated like this by someone who gained your trust and was a friend to you. Trust me you did nothing wrong in this one he's the one who's acting like an asshole.
