Silver Linings Playbook and The Avengers

Avengers and Clout Atlas (is it 2012? Here it was at the cinema at the beginning of the year)

Chernobyl Diaries was actually almost good. The characters were flat, mostly, and the story falls apart in the end, but the cinematography was mostly pretty decent and the film does a fantastic job of creating mood and building tension/suspense. I think in the end I kind of liked it better than The Dark Knight Rises.

Dredd. I haven't seen most of the big movies yet, but I absolutely loved every second of that movie and don't think anything else could top it.

Avengers, followed by Wreck-It Ralph.

I found Skyfall sadly...lack-luster, which is a shame. I was expecting to like it the most.

And to the shock of many, Battleship, the use of the war vets the whole thing, it had my heart pulled out and I was sobbing as the set up ship at the end.

I know so many called it one of the worst of the year, but idk it made me proud in a way. Yes it had its stupid silly moment, but there was a lot behind those weird one liners.

Also I have a feeling silver linings and life of pi will be up there once I get to see them

The Hobbit, hands down.

The Avengers, definitely.

The only other movie I saw in theaters last year was Brave, I think, which was good but not instant favourite.

Much as I loved Wreck-it Ralph, I think my favorite might be Rise of the Guardians... hmmm

Didn't get a chance to see the Hobbit while it was still in theaters, and while I liked Skyfall, I wouldn't call it my "favorite." So yeah, Avengers.

Avengers, the Hobbit, Wreck-it Ralph. Throw in Skyfall and Les Miserables as honorable mentions.

Damn, 2012 was a great year for movies.

Wreck it Ralph. Which makes me :/ a bit because it's a Disney film and normally I cannot stand Disney.
