I love how people complain about Merida and then gush about Vanellope. She stole something that wasn't hers and then spent the rest of the movie whining "But I'm a racerrrr wahhhhh". Hell, most of the characters in WiR are just plain awful people. The nicelanders are pricks, Felix is a selfish turd, and Ralph has sever anger issues.

At least Brave has an ending where people actually change.

...if you believe that no one changed in Wreck-it Ralph, then you're missing the point almost as much as the OP missed the point about Brave.

The Nicelanders grew to accept Ralph as an integral part of their lives and became significantly more understanding of him

Felix came to understand the ostracization Ralph faced and began to grow more sympathetic

Vanellope had to face a WORSE form of ostracization, and eventually came to understand why what she did was wrong.

...did...did you miss the part of the movie where Vanellope had to live in a cave and sleep in abandoned candy wrappers because the entire population of her game thought she shouldn't exist and was treating her like a leper? And all because someone stole everything in her life including her home?

Did you miss the part where a young girl was never in charge of her own life, and then was going to be forced to marry a man she had never met before? And that she was demonized for wanting to have control over her own life and her own body?
