17. I... kinda-sorta agree with you there. I mean. On the one hand, I like the journal/comment-thread stuff. It's fun. But I also like threading and serious characterization and plot, a lot -- that's why, I think, at the moment I'm getting the most enjoyment out of a private RP which is really more co-writing project than RP I've got going with a few friends, with an original universe/characters/plot.
The comment-thread style of RPing is reeeally tricky to pull of with IC-ness and depth. Mainly it's just crack, and sometimes, yeah, it goes overboard.
