Well, Awakening IS my first Fire Emblem game and I'm rather enjoying the plot and the characters. Although everyone's crush on Chrom is very, very silly.

(And I feel no regret for taking Olivia and Virion to S-level after meeting her child)

The characters, not the fandom. Everyone is gaga over Chrom in the story.

I mean, he's a very nice guy. He inspires people and all that. But surely not EVERYONE in the world would be in love with him, right? :D

It's in-game too...sort of. I wouldn't call two characters 'everyone.'

Frederick and the avatar also both totally have crushes on Chrom. Not sure if four is, again, "everyone", but they're both making eyes at him. ;p

Me: ...when did we do that? I don't remember THAT. Um...guys...you been having cutscenes without me?

Haha true. A lot of the later lines between Chrom and m!Avatar read like 'GUYS DO YOUR WIVES KNOW ABOUT THIS.' I'm not sure I've ever seen a character say 'my life started the day I met you' outside a romance before.

Things I clearly need to hurry up and stop stop support grinding for: Where the hell ever this and the previous conversation are.

Though, my personal favorite is what happens if the Avatar/MU dies. Even in the very first chapter Chrom is going NO! OPEN YOUR EYES OPEN YOUR EYES.

My friend and I were rolling on the floor laughing so hard I had to quit the game.
