but don't the people who campaign hardest love the characters the most? that's a lot of effort to go through otherwise. if a character has shitty promotion then a lot of people who love the character probably won't realize that they're even nominated (or that the poll exists)

but don't the people who campaign hardest love the characters the most? If it's about writing up meta making a case for them being an awesome character, sure, but when it's all that vote trading stuff where they don't even care about how the person voting feels about the character all it really indicates is that said character has the most fans who enjoy basically acting like salespeople.

I've heard complaints about the vote trading before, but I don't get it. To me it's one of the most fun aspects of FMM.
