Oh man, I could use that too, because I totally internalized the "all sex is rape" bullshit of that Women in Anthropology class I took, and I've spent years trying to move past it (with mixed results).

Odd, in all the women's studies classes I've ever taken, everyone rolled their eyes at that "all sex is rape" bullshit.

Wow. I've taken two gender studies courses (that were basically renamed women's studies courses) and I never came across that sentiment o_O I'm really sorry you internalized something like that.

I'm confused, though, because most (not batshit) feminists I see seem to be of the idea that women should be able to have just as much sex as they please without societal or medical discrimination. The belief that all sex is rape seems to run counter to that? Because then in order to stop the raping of women, women would need to stop having sex altogether, which would prevent them from having sex they wanted to have, but apparently they can't even have that because all sex is rape... My brain hurts ._.;
