This sentence bothers me...

. If it didn't, if they didn't care about it, they wouldn't be complaining about the parts that they didn't like, because they wouldn't be able to see any wasted or misused potential or think of any better ideas that the writers should have done.

I don't like that you seem to think not complaining = not caring about it. Maybe you didn't mean it that literally but still, just because I choose to focus on the the things I LIKED about the show doesn't mean I don't care about it.

Oh, I didn't mean "if you like you, you complain about it", I meant "if you don't like it, you probably won't complain about it" because you're not emotionally invested in it enough to bother complaining about little things.
