No, that's not why, it's because Elementary fandom has been really unpleasant over the past several months--I really like the show too, but it's not necessary to insult Sherlock every time you praise the show. And of course Sherlock fandom has been really embarrassing as well, which is why I refuse to encourage a Watson/Watson-off. I hardly see how not voting for them is the same as bashing (when I in fact like both characters/shows, and I also like Sansa and Mary. But the fans are often gross).

Mary Crawley fans often make DA fandom a really unpleasant place to be. Wonder if some of their 'tude was nurtured in the clash of FMM or something. Because it's such a mellow fandom otherwise.
