A friend of mine calls Sean Bean a walking spoiler. And he is! Hell, I knew what would happen to his character in Game of Thrones because Sean Bean played him. And this was before I read the books.

He lives in the movie Lost Future. Which surprised the hell out of me.

See, I hadn't read ASoIaF, so I assumed that Sean Bean's casting was a fantastic subversion of his own trope. Alas, my hopes were dashed...

He also lives in Troy, but that's because he was Odysseus, who is a walking spoiler for being the one guy who lives through the entire Trojan War and its aftermath. But I guess that aversion was subverted in that there was never a sequel based on The Odyssey.
