Yeah! I find their accents pretty striking though they're highly similar! That's like the one time I went like five minutes into North Carolina (So, like, a 45 minute drive away), we got an electric organ from some people and later stopped at a service station and their accents felt wildly different because I wasn't used to talking to people with their areas accents.

Hahaha, we can definitely try! I will probably CRASH AND BURN because of HUBRISSS! I've never had my suspicions actively confirmed or busted about my Californian accuracy so I apologize if I get it completely wrong!

That's really cool. I never would've guessed a regional accent would differ so much in such a short distance.

And hah, it's cool if you get it wrong. 'xD Especially since, like I said, there's lots of different accents where I'm from. I'm just curious what you think.

I am actually really, really uncertain, but *Checks map* I want to say that you're from somewhere around the corner between Shasta, Siskiyou, Modoc and Lassen counties. I am really interested in where you're from now because it was kind of hard to make a guess, haha

Not quite. I'm actually from Contra Costa County in the Bay Area. My hometown is one of those places where everyone comes from somewhere else, which may be why it's hard to tell. Maybe in a few generations the accents will be more similar or something. May I ask what made you guess what you did?
