I have played all the translated Fire Emblem games except Shadow Dragon and I think Awakening is at least the second best we've gotten in English (Rekka gets the top spot due to having a slightly more interesting cast and for having the Hector story mode).

I really do love the game. I wish I could find more fandom for it specifically. Anyone out there have links? All the FE fandom comms I've found so far don't seem to have much Awakening stuff and my interest in the other games is at a lowish point atm.
