Yes, just say you would like it to be tagged. There is a difference between triggers and tags, though in the end they give the same heads up. Though I'd avoid saying "I need this to be tagged" and phrase it more as a request instead of a demand.

For things that I don't want to read about (and casual and recreational drug use is one of those things) I'm just careful about checking tags and descriptions. If I stumble on a fic that goes in that direction I backbutton out. It's the only thing you can do, really.
