What kind of water are you drinking? I only ever drink water and I find there are different, distinct flavors to it depending on where it came from. Tap is usually metallic, cheap bottled is usually flavorless, Fiji water and Smartwater have the best flavors to me. If you're just starting to regularly drink water it might take time for your pallet to be sensitive enough to the different flavors it can have. Maybe you could try different kinds of water and see if you notice a difference or prefer one?
