A little blackanese would be nice, or some cinnamon chai so I could really pull off a cosplay, but they're real touchy about skin being dark where these games get made. Break out the hats and the gloves and the parasols in summer like nobody's business. Race might play a role, but I think the straight-up local beauty standard effect is even stronger.

There's Barret Wallace. In Advent Children he did have a bit of the mixed look that comes from a Japanese-as-default 'Our eyes are the normal ones' perspective.
