I'm sorry you didn't get as many comments as you wanted on your secret.

While not supporting the all caps, this is a valid point. Too many of the secrets are about the fan in question's personal life to the point where I'm convinced that they just grab a picture of the first fandom that comes to mind and switch in a couple of words. The secrets did use to be more about the fandoms than the fans and the discussion were a lot more open for that. I know that people say it feels more like a community now, but really that isn't a good thing. It means we are becoming insular and less accessible. I'd like to see more of those secrets junked to the failbar, and only the secrets which are about the fandoms without reference to the secret makers personal problems left in. I know this would take us down to only ten secrets a day, maybe less, but those would be quality secrets and more open for fans to join the comm. We might start growing again if it wasn't such an inward looking wangstfest. We don't want to end up like FFR.

TL;DR Less fandom of individual fans, more fans of fandoms.
