(Anonymous) 2013-03-12 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)Shirts, sweaters, earrings will probably not mean anything to anyone outside the fandom. They may come off as unusual, but people wear more unusual things for any number of reasons.
Wearing trolls horns will definitely attract attention, much of it judgmental, and it definitively zeroes in on one fandom. You're afraid these people will give outsiders the impression that all Homestuck fans are weirdoes who wear fake horns to the grocery store, and then they will extend that judgement to you.
