I'm a hesitant part of the Sherlock fandom and I hate all its memes.

Anything involving Martin Freeman has been used to the point of exhaustion.

Red pants? More like porn of something I don't ship clogging my dash.

Not my division jokes are slowly making me loathe my favorite character.

And the whole Mycroft and cake thing pisses me off. A couple of comments that were made to show how RUDE Sherlock is to his brother, and suddenly it's cool to make constant fat jokes? How about no.

I like this show because of the story, the connection to the original canon, because of the drool-worthy cinematography, and yes, because of the pretty cast.

Not because Martin Freeman decided to put grapes on his eyes.

We should just start our own little part of Sherlock fandom, where we can ignore all the stuff that annoy us and focus on the enjoyable parts!

We should! We could merge with the Mystrade and Mark Gatiss fanclub sections; they're sane, from what I can tell.

Totally, Mystrade shippers are oddly sane, they still haven't managed to do anything specific to piss me off*. I'm not great when it comes to fandom though, I do the tumblr. thing and the LJ thing pretty casually, F!S is my fandom!

*I am a Lestrade/Mycroft shipper though, so that might be why?

The sanity might come from just being quiet. They haven't had canon interaction, so maybe it's just that there's nothing to overplay?

Probably, they do make some amazing fanvids for a pairing that have no scenes together though!

I liked the dynamic at first. Then it turned into a reason to make Moriarty more sympathetic and human, which IMO detracts from the character.

I can honestly say I have never read anything (fanfics or similar) for Moriarty/Moran so I have no opinion either way to be honest.

(You are asking me to recall a name? And yes, she is one of 'em!)

It's weird that they're sane, because the pairing makes as much sense as Molly/Bill Murray.
I don't know how fans warp around their heads to ship Mycroft and Lestrade together.

Seriously though, like with all ships it is hard to understand why someone ships a pairing you don't. So with everything else in life, adopt the philosophy of "if it isn't hurting anyone, let people do/feel/think whatever they want to".

The fat jokes are from the show. That's how they handwave Mycroft's description in Canon versus Mark Gatiss being an XKCD character.
