...I mean, assuming it IS a real anime and created within expectations, the character archetypes are really not that hard to figure out. Anybody who's watched enough anime can guess the basic character traits of them just based on their looks. And for some people, that's really all they need in order to have a ship.

I'm boggling a bit at the full-blown fandom that exploded around it, but more in an amused, "y'all cray-cray," sort of way. No point in getting your blood pressure up over some silly thing the internet latched onto and ran with. These things happen.
