Nothin' wrong with the goofy 80's serials. One of my favourites is Paradise Towers, which is equally as cheese-tastic, and admitting liking it is probably considered an act of heresy. =D

As long as it's not Delta and the Bannermen, I don't think anyone'll lynch you.

Am I the only Delta and the Bannermen fan in Whodom? I even liked the Rani's panto impression of Bonnie Langford (who always seemed to be doing a panto version of herself) in Time and the Rani.

From what I've read, you're probably rare? I'm not the sort of fan that socialises with other Who fans, so all I know about wide-view fan-opinions is from reading about them. I grew up with the series on account of my dad having a whole tonne of the serials on VHS, you see.

He didn't have that one, though. So I saw it as an adult, without the childhood memory to disguise the bad storytelling, storyline and overall terrible execution. I found out recently that it's considered the low-point of the series, and contributed to the cancellation of Doctor Who back in the 80's and, if that's true, I can see why, to be honest. :c

Then again, my opinion is probably invalid. My favourites are Paradise Towers, The Stones of Blood, Ghost Light, Survival, The Brain of Morbius and Dragonfire. If half of those don't invalidate my opinion regarding what is good/bad in Classic Who, then the fact that I liked Adric probably does. XD

I actually liked Adric, though at certain points he was too much of a whiny little snot for even me to tolerate. ;)

Nah, you aren't the only one. Of course, I might be the only other one, but...at least there's two of us?

I loved Paradise Towers! I may occasionally still run around chanting 'Red Kangs, Red Kangs, Red Kangs are best!' Oh, and getting the urge to name things after random janitorial supplies.

Seven was and still is my favorite Doctor, so I tend to be forgiving of any of his episodes. Though Ace is my favorite companion, so I'd have to put Curse of Fenric as one of my top episodes.
