Don't feel bad, OP. You may still use your tablet for some of those things, and you never know when it might save your bacon.

I bought a netbook a couple of years ago, and used it for casual surfing away from home for a few hours maybe twice a month for a while, and I felt guilty for spending $350 on it. Then my desktop fried in a summer heatwave and suddenly the netbook was the only PC I had--and I needed it to do my job for several months until I could afford another 'real' computer! And now it's back to being pretty much a toy and has needed some expensive repairs, but it's totally worth it to know I've got an emergency backup machine if I need one.
