Apparently in the minority here, but I agree with you, OP. He was an unapologetic jerk who showed no growth whatsoever, yet we were still expected to root for him. Teen Wolf's character development is pretty weak in general though.

Seconding. I don't mind characters who are awful if we see some redeeming value somewhere, but I don't find people who are just mean dickwads remotely entertaining. First, because I think it's lazy storytelling, and second, because if there's nothing decent about them and they aren't even psychotically evil in interesting ways, why the hell am I supposed to care about the character?
