Implying that people who don't love their jobs are lazy sacks of crap who just didn't work hard enough. Nice.

Not saying that at all. But I DID figure out what I wanted to do with my life and worked very hard to get to a job I love. I'm sorry if you're unable or unwilling to do the same, but I refuse to feel bad or sell my accomplishments short just because someone else is unhappy with their lot in life.

You should definitely be proud of yourself and happy with your accomplishments, but you can do that without belittling others. Saying that the only reason someone doesn't have a job is because they are unable or unwilling to work hard is insulting.

Yeah, this. Sounds like they were very grateful and acknowledging that they were fortunate, not rubbing it in peoples' faces or implying that if they failed it was because they didn't do all the right things (in fact it seems to be saying just the opposite; it's a recognition that sometimes there are circumstances out of our control)

Shhhhhh no one is allowed to count their blessings. That's exactly like looking down on people now shhhhh

Saying someone is unable to do X to accomplish Y is not a judgment against them. Unwilling may be, but personally I'm fine judging people who're unwilling to to do what needs done to get what they want. And A job is very different from "job you love."

Wow.

OP specifically said that some people get lucky and fall into the job they've fallen into. Nothing they've said implied what you say they implied.
