3) JESUS THAT GODDAMN SUPERWHOHOBBITLOCKBULLSHIT. I know that feel, Anon. God that shit is so annoying. It was kinda cool at first but then it just started cropping up EVERYWHERE and UUUUUGH. I don't even know what it is about it that annoys me so much. I mean, I like Supernatural/Hobbit/etc individually, but when it's all jammed together in another fucking "Angels have the box" thing aad;f'f;shdssaaa GAH. I hate it. I've nearly eradicated it from my dash (because that's what you DO when you don't like a thing) but it keeps. coming. BACK. It's like the Herpes of fandom.

I hate it too. And now their doing it with Tangled, Brave, Rise of the Guardians, and How to Train Your Dragon. HATE.

I think it would be much less annoying without the weird names they come up with. I hate portmanteaux already, and calling it Superwhoavengehobbitlock does NOT make me want to check it out.

whoaaaa I'm amazed by what it's become actually.
I rememeber there being like three days where I could look in the BBC Sherlock tags and I was like who the heck thought of Superwholock and why is it a thing and why is everyone treating it like canon I just wanna look at Sherlock stuff and then I realized the Sherlock fandom was wayyy too much for me to have fun checking the tags as a casual fan so I moved on.

So now its like SPN, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Avengers, Hobbit, Harry Potter, whaaaat? Who keeps track of this? At what point does it just become an entire dang Sci-Fi/Fantasy crossover?
