It's wrong to find white guys attractive? Oh god, the SJW have really gone mental this time.

It's not always just about finding them attractive. Most of the screaming and yelling comes from the hate that gets directed at characters that aren't white dudes for "getting in the way" or whatever of the ship in question.

Funny how most of those characters are either female or POC. *shrugs*

It's more like fandom ONLY seems to find white guys attractive. Thor/Loki/Avengers, fer instance. People cream their panties over all the white guys and completely ignore, say, Nick Fury and Heimdall. You can make the argument that it's not in-character, I suppose, but since when has that ever stopped fandom? Where's all the drooling over and shipping of Idris Elba? It extends to Black Widow as well. I very rarely see anything about her/Scarlett Johansson, whereas I'll see the same damn Loki photoset on my dash thirty bajillion times.

And that's just an example. It holds true for pretty much any fandom you care to name. When people post photosets of 'hot British actors', for example, it's all white men.

People tend to be sexually attracted to those of their own race. As long as nobody's being an asshole about it, who cares? You can't control who you find sexy.

Eh, I just don't like Scarlett Johansson in general.

But I will give you the others. I walked out of the Avengers shipping Nick Fury and Phil Coulson, and I can't find anything for that pairing. I'd write some myself if I wasn't absolutely pants at it.

"it's wrong to find white guys attractive" that's just ... so out of context and hilarious and i can't understand why you'd believe it right off the bat unless you're literally looking for reasons to hate what is already a very sensationalised group of people
