I can't speak for most, but I wouldn't surprised if a few are in response to some of the 'RELIGION IS THE CAUSE OF ALL THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS!!!11! ONLY GIBBERING IDIOTS BELIEVE!!1!!!' and general insistence on...you know. Insulting religion even when it's not called for I've seen starting to crop up in some places.

Oh, I know. The big difference is that more and more *adults* are starting to act this way too - and not just the twenty-somethings. So it's getting a bit more traction and more noticeable.
